About Us

We are a group of Indonesian student volunteers that have dedicated our free time running this non-profit organization with a simple goal of representing all Indonesian students currently, going to, or have studied in Australia.

PPIA is an abbreviation of Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Australia, which directly translates to the Association of Indonesian Students in Australia. PPIA Swinburne itself is a branch of the association that has embodied Indonesian students in Swinburne University of Technology.

Our Mission

Build Community & Belonging: Create a welcoming environment where Indonesian students feel supported, connected, and at home while enjoying memorable experiences together.

Celebrate Culture & Grow Together: Share Indonesian culture proudly while providing opportunities to gain knowledge and expand networks within and beyond campus.

Expand Collaboration & Visibility: Strengthen partnerships with other PPIA branches, student associations, and external communities to amplify our presence and impact.
