We are a group of Indonesian student volunteers that have dedicated our free time running this non-profit organization with a simple goal of representing all Indonesian students currently, going to, or have studied in Australia.

PPIA is an abbreviation of Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Australia, which directly translates to the Association of Indonesian Students in Australia. PPIA Swinburne itself is a branch of that association that has embodied Indonesian students in Swinburne University of Technology.
